Sports fest 2009, Boehringer Ingelheim...

Ah, ok here is where everything starts.
A month ago, I decided to sign up for this sports fest everyone was talking about. I haven't run since last year I think. I am more into the cycling thing than running I guess, but I do play soccer, so I said: why not sign up for 100 meters and long jump? After all these were my two major competitions when I was on 5h grade back in El Salvador.
I have had this memory stuck in my head since I was on 5th grade of me running 100 meters with my new Britania shoes! hahaha, I don't think I will ever forget that.

Well so here I was, at the Blummengarden here in Ingelheim, ready to jump. 4.05 meters was the longest I could do, but I was sooo nervous and this stopped me from flying!

The 100 meters race was right after the long jump, so I ran to the other place after jumping and got there right when they were calling my name. Some of these girls were wearing the special shoes with the cleats and everything! I though: I am soo screwed! I am wearing my old pumas (that now have a whole!, so I will replace them after I make some mula). Well, I hear the shot and ran! I was running fast so I couldn't see anyone near me, I slowed down a bit cause I got scared I had done something wrong but I could hear people cheering! so I kept running. Got first to the end point! I was soooo HAPPY!!!! I wanted to go hug my brother but unfortunately he was not there this time :(

My brother is the funniest person ever, he goes to every single sport related thing I do. He shows up out of nowhere, (biking 50 miles, canoe contest, basseball with ViChem two summers ago!--> he got me a baseball glove!!) so I thought he would show up at some point to take pictures but oh well I am in Germany way far from Grand Rapids right!? and he doesn't have a teletransporter machine so I don't blame him.

Well I found another guy who looked like my brother to take pictures of me running and jumping!...

I had an amazing time, I can't complain about getting first place out of about 15 people on the 100 meters... and second place on the long jump! not too bad for not practicing I guess.

My back hurst a lot today and I am really tired! I stayed up until 1:30am watching CNN and listening to Michael Jackson songs. I was also too excited about Michelle coming today that I couldn't get myself to go to bed early!
I am just glad I don't have to do any destillations today! because that would kill me!
